Unlimited vacation turned into usually working a normal work day from my vacation location because people would keep calling or emailing. The organization has worked diligently on fixing a bad culture that resulted from the reigns being handed to the wrong person. Multiple people have told me their professors have said NSCS, the National Society of Collegiate Scholars, is a scam. The NSCS has come along side me and has helped me to find multiple outlets to pursue my dreams.
I was so lucky to be welcomed into the National Society of Collegiate Scholars, and so happy that I attended the induction ceremony.The National Society of Collegiate Scholars has allowed me to make connections and has also opened me to new opportunities.This society has been very helpful in some many ways. The other reviews are true, upper-level management is the worst. We lost almost every single valuable employee within a year of her starting.

I have been apart of NSCS for a couple of months now and have enjoyed being apart of this community with students that also attend ASU. NSCS has given me the space to grow as a college student and as a future career professional.

My major is Elementary Education, so I am constantly working with children. The President/COO cares for employees, breeds innovation and has an open door policy.
The organization is poised to not just get back to its previous strengths but move past them through growth.The organization has some baggage from the past including the negative views seen in many reviews over the past two years. While other student organizations can be a huge time commitment, NSCS is a society that is perfect for busy students because you get out of it as much as you're willing to put in!The Introduction Ceremony was well coordinated and fun to attend! I am so very honored to have been chosen amongst so many great collegiate students. Beginning my academic career as a full-time student and as a full-time employee was daunting, to say the least. Learning how to take advantage of balancing the flexibility of meeting goals and time management. This is not just an organization it is a family outside of our own. Joining this society not only gives me a feeling of pride in myself, but they also give me hope. I think the respect for life outside of work makes people respect office time more.Very nice coworkers. Ds was just invited to join the freshman honor society (can't remember the name right now) and his department head is picking up the fee. Mission focused. If a staff member is not focused on results and meeting goals they can negatively impact the rest of the organization which causes other departments to pick up the slack.On paper NSCS is everything you want in an office;
NSCS provides career and graduate school connections, leadership and service opportunities, and gives out more than $1 million … -everyday is different & fast-paced I was at NSCS for two years. Those that can't keep up can feel left out/ become resentful. These group of people to me are the heroes of today and the hope for tomorrow.NSCS is THE honor society to be part of! Once you join you will be a lifelong member.
